We provide solutions for our partners through our integrated e-commerce platform, which is comprised of three components: technology, logistics and customer care, and marketing services. We provide e-commerce solutions for approximately 60 partners.

The Sr. E-Commerce Analyst is a core member and key contributor in GSI's General & Specialty Merchandising (G&SM) group. The G&SM group owns those GSI partners that fall into the Apparel, Home, Consumer Electronics, and Media verticals, essentially GSI's entire non-Sporting Goods business. This group has P&L responsibility for each e-commerce business and manages the businesses on both a strategic and day-to-day basis. This group serves as the face of GSI to our partners. The members of the G&SM team work internally across our technology team, partner services organization (design services, product management, interactive marketing agency, and customer effectiveness groups), and operations groups (call center and fulfillment centers) to drive our partners businesses and expand the overall GSI platform.
The Sr. E-Commerce Analyst manages key elements of a partner site and their e-commerce business. This individual works closely with the Sr. e-Commerce Manager to take ownership for specific projects and critical elements of the business. The role typically includes overall site operations and process improvement, site merchandising, liaison with operations (customer service and fulfillment center), enhancements and technology projects, and analysis of site and marketing reporting.
Required Qualifications:
The Sr. E-Commerce Analyst adds value to GSI and its partners by:
' Manage partner relationship-Become an extension of the partner's business. Build strong rapport with partners including managing relationship, expectation setting, and status communications.
' Manage partner business-Execute, document, and improve site operations/processes including merchandising, marketing & creative.
' Operations - Liaison with customer service and fulfillment center to create a unified customer experience. Make key operations group an extension of the business management team.
' Project Management - Successfully manage both site enhancement and technology projects. Bring projects to closure and ensure appropriate communication to internal/external audiences.
' Business analysis - Conduct regular and ad hoc analysis of the site, business opportunities, and marketing. Develop recommendations and solutions resulting from data.
' Grow partner's business - Contribute to overall team success of beating sales forecast for partner.
The successful Sr. E-Commerce Analyst will have the following attributes:
' 5 - 7 years professional experience.
' E-commerce experience
' Strong communication skills.
' Exceptional project management skills.
' Strong client relationship experience in a client-facing role.
' Strong problem solving, business analysis and quantitative skills. Capable of proactive efforts in seeking solutions to problems.
' Demonstrated ability to exceed client expectations and incorporate urgency and strong service ethic into all aspects of the job.
' 4 year College Degree.
Desirable Requirements:
' Basic P&L and legal contract understanding.
' Product Fulfillment & Customer Service experience.
' Strong business development and solution selling skills.
' Knowledge in the apparel, and/or media space.
' Retail experience, knowledge, and expertise.
