SIRA - Shopic International Retail
Awards offers
awards in five different categories in recognition of outstanding
achievements and creative efforts in the fascinating retail business.
Participants can take part in several categories. Multiple entries per
category are also welcome if you have several projects to present. Do
not miss your chance to win additional awards.
SIRA '09 award categories:
Visual merchandising awards
- A shop window or in-store product presentation
- A display of a single product or product range
- A limited area in the shop
Examples: Shop window, focal point, product display,
animation, demo stand...
Shop event/promotion awards
- A temporary event or promotion
- An enhanced sales atmosphere
- A distinctive change of the shop's looks and ambience
Examples: Christmas season, specialty week, Valentine's day,
shop jubilee, PR event...
Shop design awards
- The layout, looks and feeling of the entire shop
- The architectural design efforts giving the shop a special
and distinctive look
- The result of the active participation of the shop
builders, contractors, architects or decorators
Examples: flooring, lightening, shelving, shop style...
Customer added value awards
- An additional service or product provided free of charge
- An encouragement attributed for purchases and/or enquiries,
visits, further recommendations
- An added value for the customer
Examples: gift, voucher, transport service, lottery, discount,
loyalty card...
Shop concept awards
- A creative and inspiring retail shop
- An innovative shop concept unique in the area
- The concept of the shop itself, its products or its
services
Examples: shop with a manufacturing side, inspiring ambience,
special staff dress code, unusual products…
